In what I can only describe as an inexcusable omission, until now I have not created a trailer for the movie. We have a poster, a DVD, reviews, promotional stills, but no trailer. I can only say that I had some difficulty getting something together that I was happy with, and that I am dumb. But I’ve finally come up with something I think works pretty well, so without further ado:
Thanks to Russell Peborde.
Another review has come in and it’s overall very positive. Excerpt:
But the film isn’t just about relationships. There is also a theme about technology, which is used as a metaphor for relationships in the story. For instance, Nick and Eva originally hook up via an online dating site. At first, they hit if off. They seem to be a perfect fit for each other: Nick is a frustrated filmmaker and Eva turns him on to a cool online sharing site. Everything seems to be clicking for them. Ain’t technology grand? But as it becomes more and more clear that Eva has lost interest in Nick, technology starts giving Nick trouble.
Near the end he refers to, ahem, ‘Joe’ Bernhard, but I’ve been assured that error will be corrected

Just a reminder about our next screening as a part of the NewFilmmakers series: Tuesday, September 1 at 8pm at The Anthology Film Archives. I’ll be there selling copies of the DVD and serving free wine afterward.
Thanks to Mininova.org’s content distribution system, there’s finally a torrent available to download the movie. This is an HD quicktime file encoded in H.264, the same source file for all of the online upl0ads. So if you’d rather have a local copy to watch on your computer or set-top device rather than a streaming version on YouTube or Vimeo, here’s the way.
The time has finally come. The much talked about, much asked for DVD is now available for purchase via PayPal. Check out the DVD page for a full rundown of the special features and how to purchase via PayPal. It’s only $15.
Some time ago we acquired our ‘vanity url’ for our Facebook fan page. In keeping with the themes of connectivity in the movie as well as the digital grassroots-ness philosophy behind the making of the film, I’ve been trying to create a strong ‘brand’ presence by registering a ‘lionsharemovie’ account on as many social networking sites as possible. This includes sites for which networking is not its primary function, which is the reasoning behind featuring our Flickr and YouTube accounts on the ‘Stills’ and ‘Clips’ pages of the site rather than hosting them on our own server.
Anyway, I just wanted a reason to post this nifty badge for our Facebook page:
Also, the DVD should be available for purchase by this time next week.
Clifford of TCWReviews.com made a new update today to tout the movie again and to spread the word about the upcoming DVD release. Check out the full story here on his website.
